ONE Prayer 2009

Might be a bit early for this, but I thought I would go ahead and throw it out there. In June we will be participating in the ONE Prayer campaign again this year. I'm not going to give out any specifics yet, but it looks like we are going to have some opportunities to be involved in some very cool stuff this year.

We will once again be giving to the ONE Prayer offering along with thousands of churches from every denomination imaginable. I'm not sure what the money is going for this year, but as soon as I know, you'll know.

As I was typing this the Holy Spirit brought Paul's instructions to the Corinthians to my mind...

1 Now about the collection for God's people: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do. 2 On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.
1 Corinthians 16:1-2

If God puts it on your heart would you consider doing that. Put aside some money every week from now until we take the ONE Prayer offering, saving it up, so that when that time comes we can simply celebrate in our time of giving.
